Seeing if anyone can beat that price/performance ratio. Something around that price. The prebuilt does come with windows 10 also which might hurt the budget.

The Buy vs. Build point of equal returns is around the $600 CAD price point. Meaning if you find it at the store for $600 or less, you probably won't be able to build on that's cheaper and better. It's this point where you have to decide if you want convenience (purchase off-the-shelf system) or quality (you pay the extra cost of quality components).
