Can anyone help give me advice and criticism of my 500 dollar gaming pc?

Can anyone please give me advice on this 500 dollar gaming pc that I am planning to build?
This is going to be my first ever pc build and i'm wondering if all the parts would be compatible and if it would be a decent pc.

For compatibility it says, "Some Intel B85 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs."

What does this mean and will it be a major problem?

Also can anyone recommend a good cpu cooler?

Your build came out to about $550, without mail in rebates. I have made some changes, to get that price down, some, and changed out for some better hardware. Motherboard is a THG recommended board, left the door open for easily upgrading to 16gb later, and changed to a better PSU.
