Can anyone help me find my BIOS update?

Hello everyone,

I am 15 and i dont know much about motherboards but i do need to update them to be able to run certain steam games correctly.
Here is a BIOS scan i ran.

BIOS Type: Award
BIOS Date: August 26th, 2011
BIOS ID: FB
BIOS OEM: FB
Chipset: AMD 1600 rev 0
SuperIO: Unknown
Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Motherboard: M68MT-S2

PS i found I was sure was the correct one but it wasnt compatible with 64 bit

Why do you need a BIOS update for some steam games? That doesn't really make sense.

As for flashing, that looks like the correct one. It is made to be flashed from a DOS disc or USB key but that motherboard supports Q-Flash, which will let you flash from a USB with the M68TS231.FC file on it. Your specs above show you are on FB bios and this would FC bios, one step up, but all it add's is support for newer processors.

I don't see how it will affect steam games and if your CPU is detected, there is no sense in flashing.

AMD FX Bulldozer processer causes tears and choppy game play in multiple steam games. (Shogun 2,CFGO,SaintsRow 3)
