Can anyone help me find the proper system to purchase? (Razer Blade, Cyberpower Black Pearl)

I recently have been shopping for a brand-new gaming rig as I begin my second year in high school. Originally, I had been keen on purchasing a full-tower machine to fit underneath my desk, but I have recently come across the Razer Blade. Now I can't seem to decide on which one best suits my needs. Any help?


Build 1: Tower

-Storage: 128 GB SDD + 2TB External HDD

-Memory: 8GB

-Display: 3200x1800

For some background information, I'm currently using a Macbook Pro late-2010 shithole as my main machine. I like to lurk on reddit and generally browse the web in places the living room, kitchen, etc., and move around A LOT while using it. This would explain the need for the Razer Blade, as it is very similar to the Macbook in terms of weight, height, and overall size. I also play a lot of games on my brother's custom system, which is probably worth around $5,000, hence why I am looking into some hefty hardware. However, the specs and price of the CyberPower Black Pearl full-tower far outweigh that of the Razer Blade, but I don't know how I would do adjusting it. Yes, I do plan on keeping my current Macbook as it is too lame worth selling, but I will most likely hand it over to my younger brother. Does anyone have any insight on this? Thanks in advance.

You should really build your own at this price point. You can either save a helluva lot of money and get similar performance, or spend the same amount of money and get a vastly better machine.

As you value size, I went for pretty much the smallest possible case with a MiniITX LGA1151 board.
