I am really confused, I have a home cinema setup, the sounds works perfectly plugging an Aux cable from the setup box to my TV, playing the Xbox one and the PC the sound works great no issues at all, but when I go onto the PS4 i dont get sound, no matter what I do, looked in the Ps4 sound settings and nothings worked, the only way ive got sound is if i plug in some headsets into the PS4 controller, but i dont understand how the speakers work on everything i use but the PS4 , anyone got any advice?

Solution
Tell us what the model is of all of your equipment, and what kind of cable you are using to hook everything up.

The problem could be the aux cable as an aux cable is strictly analog 2.0.

In home theater setup there is 2 primary configurations.
1) For soundbars, dvd/bluray combo recievers, external speakers with no receiver:
All devices connected to TV via best connection possible (Best is hdmi/dvi, next composite (red/blue/green) or VGA, worst RCA/S-video)
Then connect TV to audio output device via preferably toslink cable, otherwise RCA/AUX cable

2) For true Home Theater Receivers with HDMI input and output ports
Connect all devices to home theater receiver, output video to TV via HDMI.
