Hey guys, the title pretty much says it all, I'm looking for a budget second PC that I can use purely to open up OBS and take the streaming pressure off my gaming PC. The new PC will need to be able to run OBS and fit an Elgato HD60 Pro in the motherboard, I think I heard it needs to be at least Intel i5 or an AMD equivalent, whichever is cheapest and can do the job. I don't need any sort of accessories like mouse/keyboard/monitor, I have spares around the house that I can use. I just need some guidance from somebody with the knowledge of building budget PC's. I'm hoping to not spend over £500 if possible, the lower the better really, I don't think the PC needs a dedicated graphics card as far as I'm aware because I will be doing no gaming on it whatsoever, just popping the HD60 Pro into the motherboard, connecting all the wires and opening OBS then hitting go live.

Thanks for any help or suggestions, I'd search myself but I always get frustrated quickly not knowing whether a system will be powerful enough or if I'm paying for features I won't be using. :)

Hey thank you for all your help! Just curious about the i3 Core, I've seen some websites talk about Elgato capture cards needing i5's at least? Is that just nonsense?

"To use the basic functionality of Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro, including video capture and editing, your CPU needs to be multi-core. It needs to have four or more cores. "
https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/ar...using an,generation that's even more powerful.

The requirement is a 4th gen. quad core which is 4 core/ 4 thread. The CPU listed above is 10th gen. 4 core /8 thread. You should be fine.
