Can anyone recommend a good power suply?

Well, I recently tried using a corsair cx600 and I have learned from my mistakes. 24 pin doesn't connect properly, and the thing just ins't good.
I need something good, roughly around 140 dollars.

It has a kind of basement comparment and the wires move around from the back.

Personally, I also own the S340, and I own the EVGA 750B2 power supply 😉. It fits just fine. The S340 is a great case.

I buy most of my things from amazon, and why are there reviews saying the thing exploded after 6 months and destroyed some of their parts?

You'll always find bad reviews on any product. No company can have 100% quality control. You're just going with the company that has the lowest chance of incident.

Also, keep in mind that people usually only write reviews when its a bad one, and it varies from site to site. If you look at the reviews on the site I posted a link to earlier (Newegg), it has a perfect rating.

If you want to take steps to ensure you received a good power supply, run stress tests and check your voltages.
