My desktop has a slot loading optical drive, so it doesn't take mini CDs. But the majority of USB wireless adapters seem to come with mini CDs with the drivers on them. Can anyone recommend a wireless adapter I can buy that has the drivers on a regular, full-sized CD?

A wireless adapter that Windows 7 willl load the drivers automatically for as soon as I plug it into my machine would be even better.

Windows 7 should load the drivers the moment you connect to the internet and run Windows update... bit of a catch-22, but if you can use ethernet temporarily, it's fine.

Other option is to download the drivers from the manufacturer's website to a USB on another PC.
