Can anyone recommend components for a $1500 build?

Hi, im building my first PC, I thought id dive in at the deep end and spend a fair amount on it. Futureproofing, I figured.i wouldnt have to update it very much in the next few years.

I have a few components selected but im having trouble with some others, cases and motherboards mainly so if anyone could help me complete my list then if be super greatful.

Components so far:

Intel i7 Processor 3770k
AMD Radeon 7950
1TB Seagate HDD
16GB Corsair RAM

Also if anyone has any recommendations for the above thatd be great too, my heart is pretty much set on the processor and graphics card but the RAM and HDD i. Can be flexible with.

If this is for gaming, ditch the i7-3770k and get a better GPU.

With that cooler, you can OC the i5-3570k pretty high. As for the 7970, that one is pretty much the best out right now.

Thanks. Yes its for gaming. Ive just read further into this i7 business and there are many commemts suggesting an i5 and use the money saved to get a better GPU.
So I think I may just go with this

Would it really need an 850 watt psu though? I dont knoe how much difference there is but with the 7950 I was looking at around 600.

Also, would I be advantageous to go for the 2x8 Corsair RAM instead of the 4x4 for when I eventually upgrade to 32GB of RAM?

Or is this so far off my components would become obsolete by this time anyway?

I just slapped in a higher wattage PSU in case you ever need it, i.e. multi GPU setup if you ever choose to do that down the road. As for the ram, if you do plan on upgrading to 32gb later, I would get the 2x8 setup.

Also, there seems to be a lot of talk about new CPU's and GPU's coming out. If you can wait a few months, I would wait.
