A k series cpu should be paired with a Z390, for overclocking, faster ram speeds, and some support SLI. A B365 is plenty for any non k series CPU, unless you want to take advantage of faster ram speeds, which puts you back into Z390 territory. For those CPU's, a low end Z390 is sufficient, as you would not be overclocking. Something like this.

Overclocking a 9th gen can get quite demanding, on the power delivery side of things, so you have to be careful not to cheap out, on motherboard. Intel makes things complicated, due to their segmentation of what can overclock, and ram support.
