Can anyone tell me the best way to setup the multiple drives I have on my desktop?

Hello all,

I need a little help setting up my desktop to properly to get the maximum performance out of my computer...

My desktop spec are as follows
CYBETRON PC
CPU: AMD 4300 QUAD CORE 3.80 GHZ PROCESSOR
RAM: 32.0 GB CRUCIAL BALLISTIX
GRAPHICS: EVGA NVIDIA GEFORCE 950 SC GRAPHICS CARD W/2 monitors
STORAGE:
1 SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250 GB SSD
1 SEAGATE BARRACUDA 3 TB HDD
1 TOSHIBA 1 TB HDD
1 WESTERN DIGITAL 1 TB HDD
& 1 SEAGATE BARRACUDA 1 TB EXTERNAL HD connect via USB

OPTICAL DRIVES:
2 ASUS DVD DRIVES

OS: WINDOWS 10 HOME EDITION

How can I get this setup to get the most out of it....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there.

Basically for maximum performance you could do the following:
SSD - OS and programs
the 3x 1TB drives - RAID 0 (It's not really recommended that you mix different brands and models when having a RAID setup, but I guess it will be OK if they have similar specs so that the RAID setup is not bottlenecked). Also if you have power efficient drive among them I wouldn't use it in a RAID setup.
the 3TB drive - external backup of the data you have on the RAID array. (I assume that the Barracuda drive which is currently connected externally is via an external enclosure but please correct me if I'm wrong).

Another option is to just use the according to your needs by having them connected as separate drives, just as they are right now...
