Can anyone vouch for the free version of windows 10? Via the media creation tool

This is totally legal before people worry, getting a new pc for a friend trying to cut cost on all corners, I'm aware of the problems lower cost parts can cause, I was just wondering what are the drawbacks vs actually buying a key here's a link to the video I watched

There is no "free" version.
Rather, it is the regular Win 10, just not activated with a license key.

No customization of the desktop or taskbar.
A randomly appearing watermark at the bottom right. That shows on top of everything.

Other than that, it runs just fine.
I have a long running Win 10 Pro installed, Unactivated.
Dec 8 2016.
Still running just fine.

over here i been an insider tester for a few years. as long as he dont mind reloading his os drive once and a while if a bad bug shows up he can join the insider group.

The Insider concept has changed a bit.
Now, you DO need a real Win 10 license key. This is a very recent change.
You can install the Insider as a different system, but it does require a license.
