can ASRock 970 Extreme3 overclock an fx 6300

i have decided on a gaming rig. but i was on a tight budget so can i overclock the fx 6300 on ASRock 970 Extreme3 Motherboard.

Yes it is possible. It is not the best motherboard for overclocking, but it will suffice.

Would prob do the lower end of that scale.

Has pretty poor VRM's compared to other boards by say Asus or Gigabyte. Not very extreme at all!
