Hello everyone,

Glad to be here.

I am having a problem with my build. All brand new, no second hand.

Specs :

mobo asrock 560 Pro4
cpu intel i510400f
ram 1 dimm 8GB ddr4 gskill
psu coolmaster 850+ gold

i am trying to "mount" two gpus on the board. 1080+1660s

I have tried all the possible combinations but nothing came through.

1 pcie slot 1080/1660s the build boots only after the battery is off.

3 pcie slot 1080/1660s the build boots only after the battery is off.

no boot with the gpus on the boad at the same time. not even the mouse and keyboard are getting a power on!!

upgraded the bios to 2.1, nothing again.

still trying to figure it out.

any help would be usefull.

thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the response. I am not using any splitter cables or any after market unit. As i said before, the psu is brand new and fully modular. The psu has three 8--> 8+8 cables , so i dont have any issue to use them as they are. i have tried them all separate, but the problem still continues. two are my mainly worries about having this problem. first of all is mobo and then the psu.

the 1080 is 8pin card. and the 1660s is 8pin card too. so i am using one cable per card. i have also tried all the possible combination of them but still i cant get a proper boot. i will try another psu though. wish me luck.
