Can Asus P9X79-E WS support 5 graphic cards?

Hi all and good day,

i'm using Asus P9X79 EWS. It can support 4 way and 3 way SLI/ Crossfire. Is there a posibility that i can put 5 way graphic cards?

Probably although all will need to be single slot cards and config might be a pain - be better off with two or even three good cards

Thank you for fast reply. What are the configuration need to be done? Can you share with me.

Would need a bunch of single slot cards set up in 4 way SLI or XFire and then a standalone, it's nothing I've done (nor would a I spend the time trying, single slot cards aren't going to provide good performance

When you say about the configuration. You mean the configuration from BIOS? For what i understand that this motherboard got 7 PCIE 16x right? 4 blue and 3 black. if populated all 4 blue i will get full 16x speed if populated the black ones did i get the same speed? and what happen if i mix it, i use blue and black PCIE slot.
