Can Ati Radeon Hd 6450 1GB capable of running a hdtv?

Hello, I have a very old pc.
Cpu- Intel core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 ghz, Mb- intel DG41RQ, Gpu- Ati Radeon Hd 6450 1GB, Ram- 4GB DDR2.
Believe it or not, I run all games by this configuration that came out before Watch Dogs, even Battlefield 4. Now I intend to buy a fairly cheap hdtv like Sony 32" W700b and connect it via hdmi cable.
Can I run my everyday task like using various windows apps(in high resolution), some games(in low resolution) like far cry3, fifa 14, battlefield series etc on my hdtv?

Note- Should I attach a gtx 750ti in a configuration like this?

radeon 6450 is a very good card for daily use, even on HDTV , but for gaming ? NO

Yes and no.
As stated above, for daily tasks it is OK.
For gaming, it can pull off FIFA and some Battle Field games (older ones) in low res, but not Farcry 3.

If I replace HD 6450 with gtx 750ti, will it work for games like far cry 3?

Yes, in fact you can play it in 1080p and medium details with a 750Ti

750ti is best budget card for gaming but your cpu will bottleneck it in many modern games
