hi there actually i have bought a laptop lenovo ideapad 330s and it has an IPS display and my stupid friend pressed my display which caused in forming ripples. Afterall is become normal quicly but i want to know is there any damage done inside... pls answer me

Solution
IPS is best at its colors, view angle and do not does not do the ripples on touch screen devices.
In plane switching.
LED is LCD and on older TV's LCD used cathode lamps, you know those long tubes that were usually long lamps.

PS. Just to tell you, I really dont know much about them, i just read and remember hopefully.
From my own monitor who fell twice and acidentally banged it multiple times with screw driver and other stuff, no damage at all.
Its an liquid crystal monitor soo thankfully it returns to normal.

By pressing to hard officially you can break it, but all materials have some of sort bendage.
I would not advise to do it.

You can't mix in those terms the way you did, they are all different, or the same thing, depends on which way you look at it. IPS is an type of LCD screen, LED is the backlight used on the LCD screens. There is no "or" in them. IPS is an LCD screen, LCD screen can be an IPS screen, and and LCD screen can have LED backlight, but LED is not a screen type on it's own.
