Can Beats Pill by dr. dre record audio?

I am looking to buy a headphone with a built in microphone at first. while i was browsing for a suitable headphone i noticed a recommended product. it was beats pill by dr. dre. it seriously got my attention because there was a pretty good discount on it. i noticed it has got a built in microphone with it. but the description said it was for a conference call. what i want to know is:

"Can Beats Pill's microphone record audio to my desktop PC and How??"

any help is much appreciated

Not as far as I know. You may be able to connect it to your desktop and use some other software for audio recordings, in which case it will probably just act as a mic. On its own though? Probably not. The microphone is really more so that you can answer phone calls.

On another note, why the Beats Pill? It's ridiculously overpriced, regardless of discounts, and you can get something that will do the exact same thing (Bluetooth speakers with a mic) for less than half the standard retail price of the Pill. Just seems to me like there are better options out there.
