[SOLVED] Can Bottle Necking Cause Coil Whine

I have a i7-4790 and a gtx 1070ti i have coil whine but i am looking to upgrade my gpu to rather the gtx 1080ti or rtx 2070. The thing is i am scared cause i know my system will bottle neck (dont worry will be upgradring my cpu soon) does bottle neck cause coil whine in gpus?

Every PC component has a resonant frequency when coupled with the rest of the electrical circuit. Noise can also occur when the coil is poorly secured to the circuit board. Unfortunately, there is little you can do to reverse or remove coil whine once you have it. However, there are precautions you can take."

So if the system's hardware configuration is such that the GPU will "work very hard and vibrate" then the result could be coil whine.

You mean you will be upgrading CPU , Motherboard amd Memory soon. You will need all 3.
