I have a prebuilt Lenovo Ideacentre 310 15-IAP. It has 4 GB of DDR3L RAM and I want to upgrade that. The slot on the mobo supports DDR3, but the CPU itself don't have DDR3 listed in it's spec sheet. Will it work?
"Standard" DDR3 is rated at 1.5V while DDR3L is rated at 1.35v. There are some models that automatically undervolt, but it's not hard to find low voltage ones. Just get another stick/kit with the exact same specs (voltage and frequency).
