Can Dominator Platinum Fit?

Can Dominator Platinum fit into Maximus VI Hero with Cooler Master V8GTS? The height of Dominator Plat is 50.6~50.8mm on some websites and the ram clearance for the V8GTS is 50mm. Will the 0.6~8mm cause any problem fitting the cooler?

2 stick set? if so no problem - install in slots 2-4, should be fine in slot 1 also, but install before attaching the V8, it's a beast, but cools so good, got mine the day it was released

Thanks for the info! I might get the xigmatek dark knight ii night hawk instead as it has better clearance just to be on the safe side.

Would love the V8, great air cooler, run my 4770K at 4.6 24/7

Yeah I love the v8gts as well. But just have to be on a safe side. It was a hard decision to change.
