No damage.
But since the two sticks are not from the same matched kit, they may not work together.
No harm to try. If it does work, both will operaate at the 2400 speed of the less capable stick.
If it does seem to work, take the time to
Run memtest86.
It boots from a usb stick and does not use windows.
You can download the free edition here:

If you can run a full pass with NO errors, your ram should be ok.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Please include/list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
OS:

We can move forward from there. I'm the advocate of not mixing and matching rams. You'd be best served in buying the same stick of ram as you currently have in your system.

There's almost no chance it'll damage your system by mixing and matching RAM modules. You may not be able to run them in dual channel however, depending on if there's something slightly different with one module that won't let it run at the same exact specs as the other.

But you can try to enter all ram-timings and subtimings manually ( not using xmp or docp) with the values of the slower RAM.
First insert one ram and activate XMP and choose the xmp-profile, get the little programm zen-timings( https://www.computerbase.de/2020-08/zentimings-1-10-beta-2-tester-gesucht/), it will show the current timings, save the screenshot. then do the same with the other ram.

And then simply enter all values of the slower ram into bios and try with both rams.
