So my monitor (HP LP2475w) can support 75Hz at lower resolution.
I was using an HDMI cable before so couldn't notice any difference in smoothness of the game (CSGO) whereas i have noticed change in other monitors with the same difference of 25Hz.
I came to the conclusion that i should not be using HDMI as it doesn't support more frequency so i bought a dual link dvi-i cable.
When my monitor starts it says dvi 1 - Active analog. Now my question is why is it showing the analog thing when the dvi-i can support both (digital and analog) and wether this analog option would get me an actual output of 75Hz or not. ( It is saying that its running on 75Hz)?
