Can Dual link DVI support over 144hz at 1080p?

The title pretty much summarizes it. If I have a monitor that is advertised at 144hz, but only has HDMI and DVI inputs, can I use the full 144 hz it supports or will it be bottlenecked by the DVI at 120hz?

Dual link DVI does support 1080p@144Hz. I have ran my monitor with one till I switched to displayport.

Possible, but I don't know of any monitors that go higher than 144Hz., TVs don't count as they get higher numbers by reproducing frames and most only take a 60hz(or lower) input signal.
