Hey, I got a desktop computer just a week ago and today I saw some dust building up on the cover of my graphic card as well as on the panel of graphic card, there is also some dust on top of the PSU as well as on top of the cover of PSU. I also see dust on CPU fans and the plates like thing of GPU. I wanted to know how can I avoid dust from entering the cabinet, also can it damage the GPU, PSU and other components?

You can't eliminate dust buildup. Some cases come with screens to help, but either way you have to set a fairly regular schedule to take the system down and clean/blow out the dust. Timeframe can vary according to conditions but I typically do my systems about every 6 weeks or so for a quick blow out and about every year or so for a tear down and cleaning.

Dust acts as a thermal insulator alongside reducing efficiency of cooling fans. If you let it go a long time thick blankets of it can cause shorts, in particular I have seen this in old uncared for power supplies.

Yes also don't use things like brushes or rags to clean up dust, can create static and damage hardware.
