Can external usb sound card work with USB ports of HD TV

If you want to improve the sound of your TV your options are to connect the optical digital audio output to a surround sound receiver and speakers or to connect it to a digital to analog converter that would connect to a stereo system.

Thanx pal, my real intent is to improve the sound of my tv. However, I want to use USB for exporting audio signal from tv to home theater, but perhaps USB hubs of TVs do not export any signal. Thanx again, pal.
