heyllo there!!.

so i've been getting crashes whenever i play games.
crashes are like my PC freezes and nothing works, i have to do force restart.
i did some troubleshooting and i found out that its not my gpu.

i think there are two possibilities for the crash
1. psu failing or insufficient power(which might be freezing my pc.) but while searching i didn't see anyone getting freezes because of psu. its either restart or BSOD. but my pc is freezing.

2. My cpu temps are the reasons. they reach about 99-98 C while playing games..(csgo fortnite farcry 5). all crashes in same way.. freeezzee.

so what you guys think
what can be the reason.

PSU or temps..

Solution
Shouldn't be the PSU, the CX550 is more than capable for that hardware.

Temps on the other hand, are really ,really concerning - and most likely the cause here.

What cooler are you using? Have you cleaned/reseated?
i'm thinking cpu or ram

Defective RAM can cause all sorts of problems. If you're suffering from frequent crashes, freezes, reboots, or Blue Screens of Death, a bad RAM chip could be the cause of your travails. If these annoyances tend to happen when you're using a memory-intensive application or game, bad RAM is a very likely culprit.
