hi, can a fan be silent at 2000 rm? all fans i tried are noisy over 1500 rpm but some claim that they are silent even at 2000 rpm like sharkoon silent eagle is that possible ?
Oh they are quiet, but they aren't 100% silent if that's what you mean. I suggest you look up youtube videos on sound tests for fans as everybody is different.
Not really. The problem isn't the fan, rather the wind. Wind itself generates noise, so even if you made the fans motor incredibly silent, the wind noise will still be there.

ok thanks at what rpm is silent possible? i got a 80 mm fractal fan that runs at 1500 rpm and i cant hear it but going over that i allways hear noise
For regular 120mm and 140mm I'd say below 1000rpm. For my fans, I have to put my ear roughly 1-2 feet away from my PC in order to hear any fan noise/wind noise (they run at 750rpm, 450rpm, and 900rpm).
It's hard to give you exact specs, since everybody's ear is different.
ok thanks, its alil strange though i got some quality 120 mm fans running at around 1000 rpm that i can hear but i cant hear that fractal 80 mm at 1500 rpm
it all depends on the fan rather than the RPM.
I mean of course a 2000rpm fan will always be noisy.
but a 1200rpm Noctua is quieter than a 900rpm Corsair for example
