[SOLVED] Can faulty RAM damage other parts of the system?

Hi all, I recently purchased a high-end gaming rig which cost in excess of £4K, from a reputable UK supplier. Within a short time I was experiencing BSOD and other worrying events, such as my VPN dropping connection due to "a power state change from the operating system interrupted the..." Code 6052 (VYPR VPN) which has never given me issues previously.
The supplier asked me to test the RAM modules, which I duly did, revealing an issue. They have offered to replace the RAM (all 4 16 GB sticks) but I'm concerned for the long term reliability of the system. Is it possible that the RAM issue could have damaged other parts of the system which could become an issue in future years? Any help gratefully received! Cheers, Ralph.
