im looking at a rog maximus XI hero motherboard. investigating the memory I wanted the 4400 which is the highest memory for the motherboard. when I went to the asus listing for the memory they stated that g. skill had a f4-4400 C18Q that was the comparable memory but I cant find it to buy anywhere. does anyone have knowledge of this board vs. memory????

Those memory speeds are top tier enthusiast level clock speeds. Here's that memory you were looking at, if you feel like spending 400$ on RAM.

But to clarify, the 4400 Speeds are OVERCLOCK speeds. They are not basic consumer grade DDR4 RAM. the common types of RAM bought by new builders are rated at 2666 - 3600 MHz. 3200MHz is usually the best price-performance that most people go for. For example here's a popular choice:

Notice the price difference?
