Not much to say here, just wondering if a disk being fragmented can reduce lifetime of the disk. Or is it only after a certain percentage of fragmentation?
In theory, yes. The more fragmented the data on the disk is, the more back and forth motion the read/write head has to do to find the data. That pertains to mechanical HDDs, not SSDs.
