Hello! Can you please tell me if this card (MSI GTX 970) will fit with my other components: Intel i5 2500k 3,3GHz, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz, GTX 560 ti 2gb DDR5 and GIGABYTE GA-Z68P-DS3 motherboard, NZXT Phantom Chassi Red edition. Will my other components handle this card?

The cards dimensions:

Width: 141,0 mm
Deapth: 269,0 mm
Height: 35,0 mm

Yes, the motherboard can absolutely handle the MSI GTX 970 and will easily fit in the NZXT Phantom Red Edition case (I assume that you meant the NZXT 410 Red Color by saying Red Edition). All parts are compatible.

The case can accommodate graphics cards with length up to 305mm.
The MSI GTX 970 length is only 269mm.

Motherboard Specs:

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
* For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot.
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
2 x PCI Express x1 slots
(All PCI Express slots conform to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)
2 x PCI slots

The PCI Express 3.0 cards are backward compatible, will work fine on PCI Express 2.0/1.1 slots, with negligible performance difference. So no need to worry about that. Check this video:

As you could see the performance of GTX 980 on PCI-E 2.0 X16 slot vs PCI-E 3.0 X16 is just 2 FPS or less. Highly negligible or even non-existent!

Cheers!
