Hey, I really want to buy benq's new monitor xl2540 and it has 240hz.
I'm also going to buy a new computer because my old one broke down.
So I want to know what graphic card can support 240 hz, I can't seem to find anything about it. I'm thinking about buying 1060 or 1070. Would they support it? Hope someone can help me

Solution
Any card that has support for HDMI 2.0 or Displayport 1.2 or higher should theoretically be compatible with your monitor at 240.
The 10 series or the RX series cards already have HDMI 2.0 and Displayport 1.2/1.4.

Well I'll mostly use the monitor and pc for CSGO and I already get 200-250 fps with my 6 year old computer with (i5-3570k and gtx 570). So do you think 1070 is needed? I'm really bad when it comes to computers, I usually get help from my brother when buying computers.

+IplayCSGO I'm confused. If you're already achieving 200-250 FPS, then why do you need to upgrade your GPU?

What is the precise manufacturer and model number of your GTX 570? I understand that there is an assumption that the GPU interface doesn't have the bandwidth to transmit that much data, but I'd just like to confirm that assumption before you invest your money in a new graphics card.
