Can GTX 750 fit into Dell Optiplex 980?

I'm currently using an old Dell Optiplex 980 desktop (SFF) with 12GB RAM, SSD drive, i5 CPU 650 @ 3.2GHz, and NVIDIA NVS 315. Planning to play better games with more demanding graphics. Would it be possible to upgrade the graphic card to maybe GTX 750 (Ti) ? What do I need to do ?

Solution
I disagree about the PSU issue. The low rating is because the SFF has almost no expansion slots or drive bays to power. It should be able to power the PCIe 16x slot with 75W.
The GTX750Ti is 65W, The i5-650 is 73W TDP so 138W for those 2 items. that leaves almost 100W for the rest of the system.
You need to take a look at the layout of your system. It's BTX and this makes it different in a couple of ways.
A true single slot low profile card less than 6.6" (167mm) lomg will fit. If it has a 2 slot wide cooler you have to be careful of the Keyboard and mouse ports. The card in BTX will extend away from the other expansion slot(s). As long as it's not too long and doesn't hit the CPU cooler it can be pretty wide in the middle.
It's too...

OptiPlex 980 Technical Guide

Here's what you would need to do:

1) Find a better power supply.
Your current system only has a 235 watt power supply which would be insufficient to power a GTX 750(Ti) graphics card. Given that it's a small Form Factor system, the power supply may very likely be proprietary. You should check first with Dell to see is power supply upgrades are possible. If not from Dell, then check Amazon/E-Bay to see if anyone there has had any luck in upgrading the power supply

2) Check your selected graphic card dimensions.
Dell used the BTX design for their motherboard. The expansion slots are on the opposite side of the rear I/O ports than from your typical ATX formatted motherboards. Given the location of the PCI-Ex16 slot, the first thing you need to be concerned about is the slot width. It must be of single-slot width as there isn't a second expansion slot available. The rear plate (where the GPU outputs are) can only be one expansion slot in width. Second, the card must be of the low-profile format. The height restrictions of the case will not allow full height graphic cards. Per the specifications the card length cannot be longer that 6.6" or 16.75cm.

If you can't take care of the power supply issue, then the rest is a moot point.

Thanks for the reply guys. Would it be possible to recommend a few low-profile cards that can surely fit it in my Optiplex 980 SFF ?

It's too bad the low profile GTX1050s all seem to have a hard mounted DVI port in the 2nd slot position.
