I got a 750 ti and i wanted to ask if it can support and run 120 or 144hz monitors, also which cable is the best for 120 or 144hz monitors?

Solution
Hey,

1) Yes, it's supported for that refresh rate for desktop applications.

2) It's supported for gaming as well but actually gaming at 144Hz would not be a good experience so you'd have to tweak the games to run at a lower frame rate (VSYNC OFF, or run Half Adaptive VSYNC and optimize for 72FPS).

*I just wanted to be sure you didn't mean GAMING as in can it run all games at 144FPS as again that's just not going to happen.
It doesn't matter what vertical refresh rate your monitor has, that is simply a function of how many times a second the screen is wiped and refreshed. The gfx card is independent of that.

DVI Dual link or Display Port. Either should be fine.

Actually, 144hz without v-sync looks great at lower FPS. It is more response and smoother than when using V-sync, and with that high of refresh rate, it is hard to notice the tearing. Even with V-sync on, the refresh times are much smaller, causing less stutter, if you go that route.
