Hello,

I'm planning to get a new GTX Titan X on my computer but I don't know if it is compatible,
My current specs are :
CPU: Intel core I7 5820K Socket 2011 LGA 3.30 Ghz
Motherboard :I think " Alienware OXJKKD version 1 Haswell -E"
RAM: 32 Gb RAM DDR4
Graphics : 2x GTX 960 2gb
and my power supply is 850 W

I want to sell my 2 graphic cards for a Titan (except if there is a way to mix the Titan with my 2 GTX 960 ( I have 3 or 4 slots ) But I dont Think there is..), Is my configuration good to get the Titan ? Do I have enough space for it ? Is my motherboard compatible ? I have an alienware area 51 ( don't know if it help).

Thank you alot for your help,

Antoine Bedaton

Yes to all of your questions! It'll be a GREAT GPU upgrade as well, nice choice. I believe there won't be any bottlenecking so everything's fine.

IMO, SLI doesn't offer much as a single stronger card. So i agree with pickin a Titan X

You probably wont have any problem. If you cant fit two GPU you will be able to fit a Titan without problems.

Rest assured friend ^^

Thank you both for your answer ! 😀
Yeh I played with only 1 graphic card before ( forgot to activate SLI x) ) then I activated it recently but i gained like 10 FPS, and my screen is 4K so I need good graphic card to play in Ultra... So yeh i though of that ^^ but is it louder ? I don't really know what is phyX, I saw it in the settings but I don't know.. Is it worth it ?

Louder? I don't think so, probably two 960 are louder than a single Titan.
4k? Nice one! Nver used phyx so i can't talk about it, sorry.
