Can HDMI support 1920x1080 144hz?

i am soon getting a new monitor (BenQ XL2411Z) and i wondered if my current hdmi cable would be able to display 144hz. If not what cable would i need? thanks in advance

For 144hz. support you need DVI-D dual link or display port cable. The BenQ XL2411Z does not have display port so that leaves the DVI-DL cable for you.
