Though you're ignoring a flail that's even better than said sword of
sharpness...

Big time. Never too late to start. scum for some arrows if you need to.
Get on this ASAP. I'd suggest working up melee some too; you've got a
nice flail sitting in your pack, might as well use it some.

I really cannot say for sure exactly how effective frost bolt will be
against the Wyrm, but my (brief) experiences were that it shruged off
most if not all of the bolts even at high levels of effectivity. The
rest of the tower should't be a big deal, but I'm not certain how you
will take down the Wyrm.

This is made of iron, so probably want something else for the tower.

Any wands of cold? Those can be _very_ useful against the wyrm, and you
can recharge them with booze or boost mana.

Drop this stuff somewhere safe; take one scroll at the most for nasty
corruptions.

Get a bigger stack of these (blessed) for emergencies, shouldn't be a
problem with your 100 herbalism.

No good -- The druid won't take these guys, only the unique chaos
creatures and black unicorns.



Basically, I don't think you'll have any problems with the tower itself,
but the wyrm could pose a real problem. Perhaps others could give more
information about the effectiveness of acid/frost bolt, but I'm guessing
those won't work very well. No idea on lightning ball. If you have some
wands of cold, I'd say at least 10 (preferably 12-15) charges worth
(including recharge), that might work. You'll still want to work up at
least some basic (level 5 or 6 doesn't take long, you're obviously
scumming a fair bit already) melee and missle skills (even rocks) as a
backup plan.

I've taken him down with frost bolt a few times. Based on this set of
spells, I'd stun him and magic missle him to death. Each zap will get a
chance to hit him twice, if you're careful, so you'll double your chances
of hitting him. Frost Bolt would be my backup if you can't safely zap him
with MM without zapping yourself. This won't be easy, but it I've killed
him with MUCH weaker characters and I'm a mediocre player at best.
