Can HipStreet Mp3 Be Saved

my hipstreet mp3 player ruined my songs. I had my favorite songs on it. Tonight when I went to use it, it shows 5 files in chinese (via laptop) which i dont understand. and when i try looking at it to delete them off, it tells me i "format error" What can i do? can it be fixed?

May be some file corruption. Which model do you have?

Normally I would suggest visiting the Hip Street website:

However, that site was not at all useful nor were a couple of other leads I found. The site had a Contact form but no telling if you will receive a real response versus just getting your email etc. on some mailing list(s).
