[SOLVED] Can Hyper 212X can cool with i7 9700k stock speed

Hi, currently I have change my pc with mainboard Z390, CPU i7 9700k, ram 16gb 3200MHZ but i have a question if I keep hyper 212x for this CPU, it can cool with no OC ? Because I only play game, open few chrome tab listen music, discord,.. not render video , video editor right now.

It should work. Just keep an eye on the temperature.

The short answer is yes, the long answer is you could still get better performance by spending more on a cooler.

If you play for few hours in on sitting then grab bigger one. 212X can handle that cpu for an hour or so of AAA gaming load keep an eye on temps as it varies a lot depending on airflow. There is literally another thread open about guy playing RDR2 saying 9700k thermal-throttle with 212 evo, so your margins are kind of low.
