Can you add 4GB of RAM to an exsisting 4GB of ram? And can you put whatever graphics card in your pc or it has to be a special (like that brands match)?

Solution
Assuming you have available slots and the chipset can handle 8GB, you shouldn't really have a problem. Some RAM can be finicky though. The RAM will collectively run at the slower of the two speeds should they be different.

On the graphics front, drop in whatever card you want. Just be sure that A) it will actually fit, and B) that your power supply has enough amperage and wattage to power it and everything else as well as the connectors needed.
