I would like to add 8 GB of RAM to my Windows Vista 32 bit A205-S5825 laptop.
Will the machine support this and should and what size stick should I use?
Right now I have two DDR2 memory modules, 2GB each.
Thanks,
KCav

Vista-32 definitely will not support it. Any version of 32 bit OS can only support a max of 4gb.

Toshiba, Kingston, and Crucial list your max ram as 2GB. If you really have two 2gb ram cards installed you should check windows and see if they are really being used. Total ram should be about 3.2-3.5GB if it is.

Thank you for replying to my question. I intend to change the OS to Windows 7 32-bit. I would like to max RAM. Should I use 2 2GB or can I use a 4GB memory stick since I have 2 Kingston KVR13S9S8/4 memory sticks.
