Helo, I have a regular dell inspiron 620 pc and I want to play minecraft on it but it can barely play minecraft at all low settings so i was wondering if i can install an RX 560 2GB & an intel pentium G4560.... i just wanna play on a server with some mods at a reasonable framerate

Solution
The 620 supports SandyBridge CPUs, so i5-2400, i7-2600 etc should all work fine.

Potentially IvyBridge i5-3xxx or i7-3xxx, but that may require a BIOS update, and I'm not sure if one is available.

I believe the Inspiron 620 is a SandyBridge era system?

What configuration do you have currently?

Based on that, a G4560 would not be compatible, no. Unless there's newer models?

An RX560 should fit, assuming you have the full/mid-tower and no a SFF (small form factor) variant.

You should be able to add any external GPU to the computer as long as you have space and enough power to support it. Also replacing the CPU would be possible but the same rule applies, make sure the sockets are the same and you have enough power.
