Hey guys, last year I built the Positron 2.0, a build showcased on the Youtube channel Austin Evans. The specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
Graphics Card: MSI R9 390X Gaming 8GB
Motherboard: MSI Z170A PC MATE
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4
SSD: 250 GB Crucial BX100
Hard Drive: 1TB WB Blue
Power Supply: 600W Corsair CX600
Tower: NZXT S340

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a second R9 390X Gaming 8GB to my current build? Thanks

Solution
Yes you can go XFire but meh! just ditch your R9 390x and go for a newer and stronger graphic card!
Just wait a bit and get those Vega or simply go with the green team and get GTX1070 (or higher)!
Multi-GPU setup can never be as good as a single GPU setup.

XFire/SLi setup consumes tons of power, has potential issues (stutters, etc.), performance scaling differs from game to game, not all game can go SLI/XFire, etc.
