Can I add ram other brands but has the same spectification

Solution

Like I said before, it's not a good idea to use different RAM modules, even if they're similar. The best thing you can do -- which is also what you should do -- is to buy all of the modules needed in one pack. This means not buying one stick and another stick. You want to buy both sticks at the same time which comes in the same package. This ensures that the two are perfectly compatible with one another.

I suggest you buy your new RAM and sell your old RAM.
You can try, it's just not recommended. It *may* work, but it could also cause odd problems or prevent your PC from booting. Playing mix 'n max with RAM is more of a last resort. Motherboards are sometimes picky w/ certain brands of RAM, or mixing brands even with the same specification. If your budget allows, you may be better off buying a new RAM kit for the amount of RAM in total your wanting to upgrade to.
