Hi, I have HP ProBook 4740s, i5 Quad Core 2.5ghz, 2 display adapters (AMD Radeon HD 7650M and HD Graphics 3000) and 8 gb of ram. I had 6 gb of ram when I got this laptop from HP and i upgraded it to 8 for now, going to buy 2x8gb tomorrow (ddr3 1600).
My question is, if it is physically possible to add SLOTS of ram to my laptop. I mean i have 4gb ram in slot 1 and 4gb ram in slot 2 and can i add like SLOT 3 to put another ram in that one.
I don't know that much (i mean adding slots of ram) in laptops hardware and i couldn't even find exact answer on google, can you guys help me in that?

Solution
unfortunately no, you can't add slots. the laptop's motherboard's fabricator is the one who implements the dimm slots from the factory.
you can however, exchange the memory to a compatible higher capacity ram. check your laptop manufacturer's website for more into.
