Can I assign this button as a sniper mode button?

I'm wondering if I can assign the button below the mouse wheel as a sniper mode button

Usually these things have some software to enable the various buttons and it's up to the game to be able to support that. Odds are you can, but whichever mouse you do end up with do be sure to get the software and drivers for that mouse before you try doing anything like this. I have a Logitech mouse and it offers extra buttons which I've assigned to copy/paste for desktop work, and can assign as I wish in games.

I just made a new profile where all the DPI settings are set to 400, then assigned a button to switch to the new profile whenever it's clicked.
It might not be the easiest solution, but it works!

This was from months ago lol
I was able to assign sniper mode on it. I assigned a color to it as well.

orca-4444 how did you do it, what did you set the settings at? and was it in the corsair software and is it called sniper button?
