can I backplate an aircooled GPU?

so im buying a new rig for Christmas and ive purchased a H100 and I am purchasing a gtx 780 either tomorrow or on Saturday so obviously as ive got a h100 I wont be custom watercooling, my question is can I fit for example an EK-GTX-780 backplate to the GTX 780 without the need of having a watercooling block fitted? thanks

Not sure probably yes, but if you want to watercool your gpu you might want to take a look at this http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/138-kraken-g10-gpu-bracket.html it allows you to use any(almsot) cpu water cooler for gpu

why on earth would you like to have a water block if you wont even use it??

if you read what i said, im using the h100 for the cpu. by Custom watercooling i meant like a pump, block, res and rad not the h100, the h100 is an aio. the question wasn't about the watercooling itself it was about whether i can fit a backplate to an aircooler. custom loops are purely for looks so that nzxt g10 is useless as there are marginal cooling improvements over air cooling gpu

using backplate with air cooler does not seem easy. you will need to find correct screws.
