I have come to know about that Free sync is for AMD cards and G sync for NVidia . But recently seen some YouTube videos telling that I can mix them up ? Does this make sense?
I don't have any knowledge . I want to know .

Solution
Some freesync monitors are compatible with g-sync.
You have to check, if your specific monitor is compatible.

They all work(atleast all the ones with a displayport), but some work better than others. The 35" Sceptre I'm currently using is not on the G-Sync compatible list but I can still enable it and it works
