Hi. I know that a VPN stops the IP from being traced to your location. But what about if I was to use a 3g/4g sim card inside a router and connect to the internet this way. I would use a VPN still, but this would not stop the sim cards location being tracked by the use of cell towers. Would the company providing the sim card, be able to track it this way? I know this is possible with phones, I am guessing its the same concept with a 3g/4g router, since both devices use sim cards. If so, is there any way to protect against this?

Hi. What is the solution to this? What would a safer way of connecting to the internet be? I was considering getting a cable connection, but then obviously that connection is linked to the house, so its the same issue.

I'm going to put an end to this right here. We cannot and will not help you bypass security measures put in place by your carriers. If you don't like being tracked, I suggest not using cell service. Tom's does not condone or help with such activity.
